Join us every Wednesday for a shopping experience filled with fantastic deals. Whether a long-time patron or a newcomer looking for your next great find, explore our many offerings.

Selective Merchandise: We take great care in accepting items for sale, whether donated or consigned, ensuring that every item in our shop meets high standards. You’ll find: clothing, accessories, household items, collectibles, and more.

Fresh Finds Weekly: Our inventory is constantly refreshed with new treasures. Each week, there’s always something new to discover. From vintage finds to contemporary pieces, each week brings fresh items to explore.

Sustainable Shopping: Each purchase at Good As New Shop positively impacts our community. Whether you choose to shop second-hand, you're helping the environment by giving quality items new life and keeping them out of landfills.

Clearance Sales: Our popular half-price clearance sales are held five times a year, at the end of each season. They offer unbeatable deals as we prepare to re-stock the entire shop. It’s the perfect opportunity to score amazing bargains on a wide range of items. Items that don’t sell are donated to local thrift shops to keep the sustainable initiative moving forward.

Consignor Information

Registration Fee: Consignors may register for one or two consignor codes for $10 each, renewable each calendar year.

Set Your Prices: Consignors set their own prices and receive 75% of the selling price of items sold.

Item Limits: Consignors may consign 15 items per code: as items sell, they can be replaced, keeping 15 items in the shop.

Accepted Items

  • Clothing and accessories for women, men, and children

  • Jewelry

  • Antiques, vintage items, and collectibles

  • Kitchen and household items and small appliances

  • Linens: curtains, bedspreads, towels, blankets, tablecloths

  • Home décor and seasonal items

  • Pictures, artwork, and mirrors (no larger than 18” x 24”)

  • Books, puzzles, games, CDs, and DVDs

  • Craft materials, fabric, and yarn

  • Small electronics

  • Small seasonal sports equipment

Join us for a few hours every Wednesday and devote your time to a worthwhile cause - give perfectly good items a second chance at usefulness and keep them out of landfills. You’ll be promoting community and good works.

Volunteer and enjoy the camaraderie of others committed to making the shop run smoothly. You’ll also get the first look at new merchandise as it hits the sales floor.

Our History

Since 1962, Good As New Shop has offered "good as new" items to shoppers in Sherborn and nearby communities. What began with a few consignors on the porch of the historic Clark House has blossomed into a thriving community. Now housed in Sherborn’s Unitarian Universalist Area Church, Good As New Shop unites over 200 consignors from 36 communities to offer you the best in new and gently used goods.
